Meet Brandon
Anyone who knows Brandon Crawford knows he is a hardworking family man. Brandon was raised in Sparta, Tennessee, where he worked early mornings and late afternoons, before and after school, on his grandpa’s dairy farm. They farmed over a hundred head of cattle on two-hundred acres. It was here, when Brandon learned how to operate heavy machinery at an early age. During his teenage years, Brandon participated in his school’s FFA organization. Their FFA program won numerous awards from Tennessee Tech University while he was involved in the organization. All these experiences created a strong work ethic and a love for the community he called home. Because of his caring attitude for his family and neighbors, and seeing the fear brought by an active storm season, Brandon was spurred to take action. That is when he started a journey to find a safe place for people to shelter when the weather turned dangerous. The result of his research is what started his business, B & H Storm Shelters. Since starting his business in 2011, Brandon and his team have helped hundreds of people have safe places to shelter during storms and tornadoes.
