Our above ground tornado shelters are available in a solid, welded one-piece unit. Both units are EF5 certified and offer you complete protection from the storm as well as intruders, and will provide you with equal amounts of safety during a variety of natural disasters.

The new patent pending “no-pinch” MAX door consists of two thick impenetrable skins separated by an internal square tubing frame. Because it weighs around 400lbs, FamilySAFE manufactures our own very large hinges for all of our above ground storm shelters. These exclusive hinges serve a major role in the FamilySAFE SAFE-T-DOOR system and allow for a very easy, smooth swing. Our SAFE-T Door insures that you and your family do not become trapped inside your custom tornado safe room after a deadly tornado.
